Tip of the Hats is a charity event hosted and supported by members of the TF community. Since 2013, it has raised over $320,000 for Children's Oncology Services, Inc. (COSI), which offers camps and other programs that allow kids with cancer to just be kids. With your help, COSI can offer these services at little to no cost to their families. Prepare yourself, the UGC League Fall Season is about to start! Join the 1,000 teams that played last season for some competitive TF2 action! The first week of matches starts late this month: September 21st for 6v6, September 24th for 4v4, and September 26th for Highlander.
UGC has over 8,000 players in divisions across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. Players from any of these regions are encouraged to sign up and join the fun! The European Team Fortress 2 League (ETF2L) Season 25 schedule and signups have opened! The season is kicking off with a 6v6 cup, testing new maps and weapon pickups. Signups are open until September 15th at 21:00 CEST. Any 6v6 or Fun Team that has 6 players on the roster at the end of signups is eligible to participate. The Summer 72hr TF2Jam received over 500 entries including maps, videos, posters, drawings, food, fan fiction, music, mods, and even an entire game. If you're looking to get into league-style competitive Team Fortress, sign up for The Highlander Open, a new initiative to introduce non-competitive players into the competitive scene. Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in this massive competition. Sign-ups close on July 7th, with Week 1 beginning July 10th and lasting for over a month. The TF2 Invitational at DreamHack Summer begins Saturday, June 18th. Four fearless European teams will be fighting it out for $3,000 sponsored by Sweetstakes.tf and Plantronics. This season instead of making just maps, they're encouraging all forms of TF2-related creativity: maps, models, SFM builds, hats, fanfiction, poetry, HUDs, art passes, competitive tournaments, and anything else!
