United Gaming Clans are starting up their Highlander and 6v6 leagues in preparation for their Summer Fun season. The first week of matches begin June 10 and 12. UGC has divisions in North America, South America, and Europe for both formats. They've also recently added a Highlander division in Asia and Australia/New Zealand.
Players from any of these regions are encouraged to sign up and join the fun! In fact, it's looking to be a record breaking season in terms of team signups in the Highlander division with over 580 teams signed up so far! Last day to sign up is June 15. Visit the UGC website for specifics.
ETF2L have opened the gates to sign up for their 15th 6v6 Season! New players are encouraged to visit their new player guide for some pointers on navigating the world of competitive play. As an added bonus, there's a trailer available to help promote the new season.

In addition to the new seasons the UGC has also recently expanded to the Australian region in addition to their Asian, South American, and European regions. The Team Fortress 2 Mix-Up Match charity matches have concluded and the team is actively working on polishing up and uploading the replays. So far the first two have been made available with rounds on Upward and Viaduct and the third round on Lakeside will be available soon. So soon in fact that we were told Monday was the day the final replay would be available. That's today!
The Mix-Up series raffles off a chance for three lucky winners via donations to play with developers and community celebrities in a Highlander best of three rounds. All donations and ad revenue will be donated to Doctors Worldwide.
Valve merchandise licensee NECA has launched a sneak preview of the upcoming Demoman and Pyro action figures that shows off each figure’s sculpt, articulation, and accessories. Each figure will ship with a promotional code to unlock in-game content. The figures are expected to be at retail by the end of January 2013.
Mixup Number Five has been announced giving players an opportunity to both donate to a good cause and a chance to play with the developers and various other community notables. ETF2L is starting up its third season of Highlander next week. Last year they had over 300 sign-ups and are hoping for even more this year! Signups start Monday, October 15 and are open through the week until October 23. The season is slated to start the first week in November.
As an added bonus, to help promote the new season, on Sunday October 14 there is a Highlander match scheduled between one of the best teams in Europe and North America: Teams SNSD and The Syndicate. The match will be broadcast on VanillaTV at 9:15PM CET and is a joint effort between VanillaTV, ETF2L, and eXtv who are all going to be covering the event. The United Gaming Clans (UGC) Highlander and 6v6 leagues are gearing up for their fall season openers on September 17 and September 19 respectively. UGC has expanded and now features operations in Asia and Australia and teams from these regions are ecouraged to sign up. In addition they will be raffling off an unusual hat and there will be an in-game medal design contest sponsored by Ruskeydoo (Hibernating Bear Heavy set creator).
