i-Series (i43 specifically) is expected to draw up to 2700 gamers in the UK for a massive LAN event August 26th - 29th. With what is likely to be the UK's biggest LAN event of the year, they're throwing a Team Fortress 2 tournament into the mix! Check out the i-Series website for further details.
The second ETF2L Ultiduo Cup is well into its season. The finals are expected to be played August 24th 19:00 - 12:00 CEST. VanillaTV plans on broadcasting the matches.

CEVO has announced the opening of registration for the next season of Team Fortress 2. There are two divisions, Open and Main, in 6v6 format. Both divisions are free. For registration information visit their official news posting. Registration ends September 4.
There's a new Steam group for those interested in upping their 6v6 game. They offer a friendly and monitored environment where new players can play alongside experienced players with full voice support. Both North American and European groups are available. The Free-2-Play Invitational Cup, featuring teams from Counter-Strike Source, Left 4 Dead 2, Brink, and Call of Duty 4, has their final match up on Sunday, August 7th at 19:00 BST / 20:00 CEST / 11:00 PDT / 14:00 EDT. Top team Epsilon Brink will face off against a team of Valve employees and a variety of internet celebrities. Robin Walker and Jon Lippincott of Valve will be joined by Richard 'Gonzo' Lewis and John 'TotalBiscuit' Bain from CynicalBrit.com backing them up. Since a couple of us at Valve will soon be playing the winners of the Free-2-Play Invitational Cup, we've also started ramping up the amount of time we spend thinking about ways to cheat win creatively. In completely unrelated news, if you see any TF2 updates in the future that have no changelist, don't worry, there's absolutely nothing going on.
A group of 38 talented community members have begun to lift the veil off their fine creation, the most elaborately crafted fake TF2 update we've seen yet: The Medieval Update. With over 70 new custom models you can download and try out in Medieval mode, there's got to be something in there for everyone. In fine TF2 update tradition, they're releasing the details over the next few days, so keep an eye on the page.
Dr Ether over at Ethercast fired us an email to let us know that he's finished his Meet the TF2 Voice Actors! playlist, containing 35 minutes of amazing footage covering the many roles that TF2's voice actors have held in the past. Note that there's some strong language in there, so you might want to avoid the Scout & Medic videos if that's not your cup of tea.
